Job Summary

The Senior Logistics Assistant - Warehouse and Cold Chain Management is responsible for executing general warehouse operations and activities. He/She performs warehouse operations in adherence to procedures, and the safe and efficient operations of goods and equipment.

He also coordinates the deliveries, asset management and transaction documentation process, and performs the secure handling of goods. He also implements improvement opportunities within the warehouse operations.

He may be required to work in rotating shifts and be physically fit. He is expected to be vigilant, decisive, and possess effective communication skills.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

• Communicate requirements and activities to stakeholders
• Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation
• Perform continuous improvement activities
• Perform WSH activities to ensure personal compliance to requirements
• Work with team members to support technology projects
• Perform transport operations within resources and cost allocation
• Review warehousing quality issues in a timely manner
• Coordinate arrangement or rotation of warehouse cargo and items

Job Requirements

• Basic knowledge of SAP / Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Proficiency in basic Ms Office Applications
• Relevant experience in a warehouse environment
• Physically fit for tasks that may involve lifting and moving packages
• Good team player, able to work well independantly and in a team
• Fork Lift licence is preferred.

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

GCE N/O Levels / NITEC

At least. 1-2 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations.
