Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Regional Purchasers for Inventories fulfilments.
  • Liaise with Planners/Master Schedulers for stock requirements to issue to Orders.
  • Liaise with Export Control Officer for approval of all outgoing shipments and documentations.
  • Work with Production for goods issuance to fulfil Production Orders.
  • Work with Sales, Project and Service to support Customers\' needs and shipping terms, and destination custom clearance process and requirements.
  • Work with Customer\'s agent on destination country requirements and permits.
  • Shipment of Dangerous Goods and Strategic Goods.
  • Goods receipt against Purchase Orders and internal Production Orders.
  • Goods issuance to Sales Orders and Production Orders.
  • Sourcing for freight quotes, shipment requirements (crating and fumigation) and approval.
  • SAP posting of goods issued and freight cost to Sales orders.
  • Pulse system update and posting of goods issued.
  • Monitor of outgoing shipments till goods receipt by Customer.
  • Managing of any discrepancies or damage to goods and subsequent follow-up with replacement and insurance claim.
  • Picking, packing, preparation of CIPL and necessary shipment paperwork for outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare document and website triggering of Air freight, Sea freight and Land trucking.
  • Management of warehouse inventories and Quarterly Stock Count for accountability and audit purpose.
  • Close collaboration with Production and RMA on shipping requirements and timeline.
  • Close collaboration with EMEA and America regions as well as Planning & Control.
  • Initiator and leading example to achieve continuous improvement of Operational Excellence.
  • Maintain optimal level of performance and ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate, provide data to support management where and when needed.
  • Manage and prepare reporting for all relevant activity metrics and analyse results to recommend required improvements in performance.
  • Assist in tasks assigned to Supply Chain Operations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma within Supply Chain and/or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in handling logistics operations/ management.
  • Hands on experience in using SAP or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge to LEAN mentality and continuous process improvement.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
