The Logistics Coordinator will work with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Freight Forwarders, Carriers, Distributor and custom broker. You will be responsible for ensuring Logistics Plans align to Contract Manufacturing sites production and fulfilment plans and communicate Logistics network constraints back to the organization. This position will also develop weekly/monthly freight plans as an input to the S&OP process and be responsible for managing reporting related to logistics under management.
2. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage in planning and maintaining of logistics policies and procedures
Daily monitoring logistics status and generate and keep proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company\xe2\x80\x99s logistics operations
Review and revise logistics plans as required by changes in the delivery date or manufacturing schedules
Preparing shipping documents, reviewing and verifying the shipping documents to coordinate and support custom clearance
Act as a liaison between Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Freight Forwarders, Carriers and Custom brokers; communicating and troubleshooting issues, problems, and concerns
Monitor the entire process of product movement
Assist in the expediting finished goods or bulk products, when necessary, to support customer order fulfilment
Recommend and implement transportation actions when products are in out-of-stock or allocation situations
Resolve problems that are related to transportation and logistics systems
Negotiate transport or logistics fare rates with suppliers and customers to improve the supply chain by cost reduction
Analyze areas of corporate logistics to find out the most cost-effective means or method of transporting supplies
Communicate transport or logistics cost to customers or suppliers as the case may be
Evaluate and process claims made by customers
Verify invoices from logistics service provider
Perform other duties in supply chain as and when may assigned by the management team
3. Required Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Logistics, preferably logistics experience of Pharmaceutical, manufacturing or healthcare sector in procurement or supply chain or outsourcing management
Strong working knowledge of cross border logistics including import/export and customs clearance
Preferably Experience with cold chain management
The ability to adapt to rapid change, wear multiple hats, and work effectively under pressure to meet competing workplace demands and tight timelines. Proven written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with little or no supervision
High attention to detail and above average organizational skills
