It involves the physical The responsibility of logistics assistant is to coordinate & control the daily operations in the warehouse in order to ensure effective inventory management control and efficient Responsible for processing company's outgoing deliveries and is required to ensure that the component which is being shipped out is done so in a proper manner Job description: Data entry of goods receipt into ERP System, checking and ensuring proper storage Maintain and keeping up to date stock inventory records and location of goods to ensure stocks are kept in good condition and systematically arranged. Work closely with Sales to ensure orders is plan out to customers accordingly and necessary reschedules are done. Overseeing the planned maintenance of forklift, reach truck, and equipment in warehouse. Supervise and plan the work instruction of the logistics operations staff to ensure the optimal utilization of human resource. Supervise and assist in daily warehouse activities and shipping duties including order fulfilment, pick/ pack/ put away, generating shipping orders, ensuring accuracy of shipment & supporting document to fulfilled internal shipping requirements. Ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate put away area. Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities. Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance. Conduct inventory count to ensure physical stocks tallies with system quantity. Enter data pertaining to domestic and international shipments into the company's ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers or customers. Requirement: GCE 'N' or 'O' Level/ Diploma holders 2 to 3 years' experience in relevant environment Knowledge in Microsoft Office required and Proficient in MS Offices Excel Experience in ERP System
