Description

Our client provides R&D consultancy services and commercialisation support for food companies. They are hiring a Logistics Executive for their new R&D and production facility in Singapore.

Responsibilities

This role reports to the Facility Operation Manager. You will play a key role in implementing and improving supply chain and logistics matter for a start-up organization. Your main responsibility is to manage the innovation laboratory and small-batch production facility to ensure timely incoming/outgoing of raw materials, supplies and products and oversee the warehouse operation. This includes engaging and managing forwarders to ensure timely receipt of import goods to support production operation and export of products in the most efficient manner.

Requirements

You will ideally have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics/Shipping or a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience with import and export documentation. You have the ability to work under pressure and establish good working relationship with personnel at all levels. Prior experience working in food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
