Job Description


A PURPOSE Primary: Oversee Technical Store operations Secondary: Assist Sales Support (particularly in Tender/Maintenance)

B NATURE & SCOPE Procurement/Purchasing, Planning, Reviewing logistics processors for productivity and efficiency, mindful stocking and replenishment, disposal of old and defective parts, hardware supportability and stocking cost, warranty support, technical knowledge assistance

C PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee Technical store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Vet through and revamp contracts inputting essential info for stocking and support purposes
  • Alternative parts solution ie. maximising parts taken from loan sets to reduce unnecessary stocking
  • Providing stocking cost and alternative solution to sales on TPM supportability and reducing BTB
  • Planning what, when and how much parts to purchase for renewal and new contracts
  • Maintaining reports on consolidated MA contracts in stocking, quotation for renewal and new contracts
  • Month-end purchase reports and quotation sales report
  • Basic repairs to recover faulty parts
  • Parts sourcing and ordering for sales quotation
  • Provide assistance to Service Department in maintaining their warranty sets inventory
  • Sourcing new vendors to enhance pool of vendors for better pricing and lead time
D REQUIREMENTS
  • GCE \xe2\x80\x9cN\xe2\x80\x9d Levels and above
  • Must have some knowledge PC/Servers/printer parts
  • Must have basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be able to perform 24/7 standby
  • Must be able adapt and a team player
