Job Summary

The Logistics Executive will oversee and manage all aspects of logistics and supply chain operations within the project. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and optimize resources to ensure efficient project execution. The Logistics Executive will collaborate closely with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, as well as efficient transportation and logistics management.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to support the project.
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction site.
  • Plan and schedule deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment at project sites.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment of logistics activities.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for logistics services, negotiate contracts, and establish service level agreements.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any transportation issues or delays.
  • Manage inventory control and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Optimize logistics operations to minimize costs, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure adherence to established logistics processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements related to construction logistics.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Familiar with Incoterms, Port/Air Clearance, Singapore Customs Tax and Duties
  • Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Candidates who have obtained a Lifting Engineer Certificate will be highly regarded.
  • Will be required to work full time on project site in Tuas South.
