Job Description

Our Client is a Fortune 500 Company and is one of the largest integrated refiners, marketer of petroleum products and chemical manufacturers in the world.

Man Machine Interface
a. Leads high risk focus group for Working Around Mobile Equipment
b. Champions deployment and ensure compliance with standards on site
c. Leads resolution of issues with contractor and subcontractors

Traffic Management (General Traffic and Within Site)
a. Participate and provide inputs on potential conflicts in daily coordination meeting
b. Resolve conflicts on the ground
c. Lead improvement initiatives
d. Make observations and provide recommendations for improvements
e. Steward improvements and ensure effectiveness

Jetty Management
a. Supports gate opening form
b. Regular update/info to base plant and adjacent neighbors

Walkway Management
a. Daily walk (morning before work & post lunch) and expedite closure of action items (receives direction from HSE manager)

Communication for heavy lifts, vehicle access diversion
a. Point of contact for distribution of communication associated with above
b. Mass communication - currently there are too many duplicates in distribution

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a closely related position
• Behavioral Skills: effective communication, courage of conviction, sound decision-making, risk management
• Functional Skills: SSHE management - operations and maintenance, operations planning / improvement, maintenance management, logistics, general marine operations
• Demonstrates leadership, strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to network effectively across organizations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
• Broad Supply Chain knowledge
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
