The Opportunity:Our esteemed client, a well-established and reputable company, is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead their team. In this role, you will be pivotal in overseeing and managing export/import order fulfillment operations as the main point of contact, with a particular emphasis on freight operations for a leading chemical company.

• Mon-Fri: 9 AM - 6 PM

The Job:

• Lead and manage export/import order fulfillment operations as the main point of contact, with a particular focus on chemical non-solids
• To conduct periodic reviews of SOPs aimed at enhancing operational efficiency through system automation or process improvements, thereby mitigating potential risk areas
• Ensure that shipments are executed accurately and punctually according to agreed SOPs and KPIs
• Develop and uphold guidelines and best practices to minimize compliance risks associated with shipments
• Deliver on-the-job training to staff members to enhance their work performance and productivity

The Talent:

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in freight forwarding/ chemical
• With experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict, and performance management
• Strong knowledge in Export & Import shipments, Permit Declarations, Bill of Lading
