The Opportunity
- Opportunity to work a MNC to support the railway infrastructure!
- Salary: $5500 (Subjected to experience)
- Location: to be based at either Tuas or Hougang
- 2 years contract!
- Min Diploma in any Discipline in supply chain
- Logistics knowledge and understanding import/export preferred
- Minimum 3 years Rail Experience preferred
- Computer literacy (Ms. Office). SAP IM module Knowledge a definite advantage.
- Manage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
- Meet the demands of the fulfilment center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery (MHE) regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed with suppliers
- Meet regularly with ILS; Material Planning; Project to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for inventory optimization
- Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with client SMRT on order fulfilment
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
