Scheduling of Vehicle Vehicle Maintenance Schedule/ Report. Tools and Equipment Inventory RFID monitoring Monitor mobilization fund, insurance and registrations Make sure that logistics manpower possess all the necessary competence and proof of competencies to perform their tasks. Making sure that all tools and equipment are sufficient in quantity to meet the needs of the company, routinely checked and tested to be in good order and condition, and preventively maintained at all times. Organize resources to enable contract deadlines to be achieved, ensuring logistics activities are not a constraining factor on the project. Plan site set-up to move labor, materials, tools and equipment around site efficiently. Plan internal and external logistics routes through the project phases focusing on separation of vehicles, machinery and people, laying down areas and off-loading points. Create operational procedures and logistics method statements. Execute logistics plan and make sure that manpower, materials and supplies are delivered to site just-in-time (JIT). Create schedule of logistics meetings and ensure logistics is represented at site meetings. Ensure team has safety training and continuing logistics safety awareness training (ex. Following lifting plans). Ensure that logistics movement to and from the workplace does not cause damage to the work, workforce or public by installing safeguards, including safety signs and symbols in a language or dialect understood by the public. Recommending logistics policies and procedures for approval of the Chief Operating Officer. Formulating training plan, materials and schedules for new hires, and the continuing professional development of logistics team members, for approval. Forecasting and requesting manpower for current and foreseeable volume of logistic work. Preparing the annual logistics budget for approval by the Chief Operating Officer. Attending management committee meetings. You are also responsible for such other duties and responsibilities relating to logistics, that the exigencies of the position requires or the Chief Operating Officer may assign to you from time to time.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
