• Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics & Transportation (Freight Forwarding)
• Position Title: Logistics Operation Manager/ Operation Manager, Logistics
• Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre
• Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6 PM; Alternate Saturday, 9 AM-1 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $5,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing transport operation, planning daily transport routes, updating customer delivery schedules and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Liaising new and existing customer requirements, providing quotations, and resolving customer complaints. Ensure a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
• Handling cross-border trucking from/to Malaysia, including trucker arrangement, and permit declaration via Tradenet systems.
• Lead a team of warehouse personnel, drivers and cargo hands in daily operation.
• Managing and overseeing daily warehouse operation, including warehouse receiving, monitoring inventory accuracy, picking, ordering and delivery.
• Optimizing warehouse storage space, ensuring FIFO and warehouse activities are carried out efficiently.
• Sourcing and negotiating competitive rates from vendors for a good margin.
• Executing administrative functions, inventory report, distribution report, update WMS, shipping documents and invoicing.
• Coordinate with Seafreight and Airfreight team for warehouse and transport arrangements.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
