Job Description


Key Responsibilities Interpret, analyze, and present metrics/KPIs to Management. Drive corrective actions with appropriate groups to improve metrics and address exceptions. Lead the design and implementation of new business processes. Develop and drive process improvement projects to increase service level performance and/or minimize costs. Project scope is moderate in complexity and has regional impact; includes integration of processes with Outsourced Logistics Operations providers. Weekly review of process control exceptions that result in reported distribution quality non-conformance issues. Develop and document root cause and corrective actions, and work with outsourced and regional logistics partners to implement. Support the development of cost estimates and demand forecasts for logistics modeling and tracking Perform reconciliations, validations and audits of warehouse inventory operations. Work closely with Management to implement corrective actions. Evaluate data against audit requests and ensure completeness of data. Assist the Organization Audit Focal prepare for the internal/external audits. Create and submit claims for AMAT lost or damaged materials and assist suppliers with their parts claims. Coordinate with internal organizations to provide additional data if required for freight claims. Support escalations from internal and external providers Prepares, reviews & approves files for import/export documents such as customs declarations, (SLI) shippers letter of instruction, SED (shipper's export declaration), IC (import certificate), etc. required for the lawful completion of import/export activities. Audits and reviews, ensuring that commercial and sales invoices are accurate in accordance with physical shipment and customer's SLI, quantities, value of goods, country of origin, and other regulatory requirements. Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and processes. SUMMARY The Senior Logistics Operations Supervisor is a key role within the Manufacturing Logistics Operations organization in Singapore. Key responsibility of this individual is to drive Logistics operational executions and process improvements in support of the Asia Production Center (APC) in terms of On Time Delivery, Quality, Safety, Cost and Productivity. This role will work closely with Third Party Logistics providers, manufacturing, production control, order management, Trade, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance. Main Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage Logistics warehousing and material flow operations in support of the Asia Production Center (APC) in Singapore.
  • Drive 3rd party logistics provider in effective process designs, day to day executions, process continuous improvement, warehouse capacity planning, productivity improvement and space optimization.
  • Establish Key Process Indicators (KPI) and Scorecard metrics. Generate reports, maintains performance and drive 3PL on corrective actions.
  • Provide logistics expertise and collaborate with cross functional teams (Manufacturing, Production Control and Supply Chain) to establish logistics support infrastructure and service level agreements for new product transitions and/or manufacturing business requirement changes
  • Collaborate with internal IT team to provide SAP expertise in process design, training and user operations support for any SAP change projects
  • Develop good understanding of Singapore import/exports requirements and ensure warehouse shipping process compliance.
  • Manage customer escalations, define problem statement, data analyze and drive corrective actions alongside with 3PL and AMAT Quality Team.
  • Responsible for warehouse inventory control and finance reporting. Drive excess/aging inventory reduction through collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Seek opportunities to introduce automation and technology into the warehouse operations as opportunities to improvement quality control, space and labor productivity
  • Ensure Logistics compliance and controls to Applied Safety Standards
  • Manage projects where applicable in area of responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Operations or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 12 years relevant operations experience in logistics warehousing, 3PL management and process & quality improvement.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in SAP EWM / ECC environment
  • Warehouse automation experience would be an asset Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong knowledge and user skills in SAP EWM/ ECC environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Logistics warehouse operations and lean principles, preferably in a semiconductor industry and/or fast paced environment.
  • Strong ability to manage 3rd party logistics providers and drive performance metrics.
  • Knowledge in DMAIC, 8D and Six Sigma typed Quality methodologies is an asset
  • Attention to details and analytical in problem solving
  • Ability to demonstrate high sense of urgency and is highly adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a culturally diversified cross functional team
  • Excellent English written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP, Notebook, & Access) Shift
