• Responsible for maintaining pricing data procured from logistics partners to support freight forwarding service offerings to customers.

• Conduct analysis and research on data while looking at the overarching procurement process and trade lane fundamentals.
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Partner rate procurement

• Work with the logistics service partners to obtain regular and spot quotation requests.
• Coordinate closely Business Development team to support customers\xe2\x80\x99 quotation enquiry or bidding.
• File all tariff discount requests and ensure approval is obtained before offering/uploading discount tariffs.
• Interaction with the country teams and regional headquarter organisation to understand market requirements to achieve the highest possible competitive pricing.

• Pricing maintenance

• Ensure all tariffs and sailing schedules are updated on time and accurately.
• Manage new service/rate promotion programme.

• Pricing analysis and reporting

• Record and analyse conversion rate regularly.
• Tracking partner allocation utilisation.
• Prepare and perform weekly/monthly internal reports

• Partner performance management

• Be the contact point for all internal stakeholders to communicate the status of requests related performance of the logistics service provider
• Ensures smooth & efficient cooperation between LSP and the company
• Develop process and training materials for partner
• Cross-check monthly billing from partner and resolve invoice disputes from the internal team if any
• Organise and Quarterly Business Reviews with the LSP

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred

• At least 5 years of pricing or procurement experience in the international freight forwarding industry

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong in data analysis and data management.

• Multi-tasking and cross-functional collaboration capability

• Highly self-motivated and driven
