Position description To support our further growth, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist for our Asia Pacific Regional (APR) team. You will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of import and export distribution, as well as the rest of the region, with a direct reporting line to the Supply Chain Manager APR. Responsibilities

  • Support import and export documentation and arrangements.
  • Day-to-day management of logistics flow.
  • Cost control and allocation.
  • Regular SLA and KPI reviews with 3rd parties.
  • Manage exceptions and disruptions in transport and warehousing.
  • Support insourcing of transport and warehouse services.
  • Support logistics related projects.
  • Key backup for demand/supply planning
Your profile Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment - needs to be able to multi-task to manage both workload and paperwork effectively. Action orientated - needs to be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes. Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email) and excellent administration skills. Professional communication skills - needs to be able to communicate with peers, customers, and vendors internally, and across cultures. Experience in warehousing and distribution, ideally also working with a 3PL, is desirable. The job demands language skills in English and Mandarin. Any other Asian language is an advantage. Ability to work in a collaborative, regional team environment that fosters advanced and effective approaches to managing warehousing and distribution of goods across APR. For this challenging task we are looking for a proactive logistics coordinator, who is a team player, adaptable, logical, well organized and result oriented.
