We seeking an individual with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the Maritime Ship Supply capacity along with reasonable knowledge of Supply Chain distribution and Logistics operations.Responsibilities Assist the Logistics Executive to oversee daily operational functions with good manpower planning. Assist to manage logistics and transportation activities. Serve as point of contact on any Logistics related issues. Ensure Team follow best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the company to improve operational and financial performance. Lead and execute new operational functions Assist to resolve delivery issues in a timely fashion and outline problem recommend solution Continuous improvement of technology to enhance and streamline logistics processes Manage complex and drive problem solving to improve work processes Maintain daily operational logistics to ensure smooth delivery progress for the various Sales department Continuously suggest new ways to improve operations and reduce cost while maintaining customer satisfaction Ensure operational costs are managed well and contained Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines such as implementation of WSH, safety rules and regulations Identify the relevant risk indicators and help to monitor them Administration and supervision of staff under his charge Ensure tidiness in the workplace and all safely regulations are being complied Assist Logistics Executvie to ensure maintenance and servicing of equipment and vehicles are performed on a regular basis Any other duties as assigned by the ManagementRequirements Candidate must possess at least Diploma /Post Graduate Diploma At least 2 Years of working experience, preferably in logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent. Strong in communication and team player Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions A self-starter, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport management systems Proactive and possess positive work attitude
