Lpg Trader/analyst
Job Description
The LPG Trader/Analyst position offers an opportunity to be involved in the LPG Supply and Trading team. This position reports to the Trading Manager, Industrial Resources BU. Key responsibilities and exposures for the position include:
Execution of derivatives trades.
Gathering and verifying market data/information, conducting in-depth research on supply and demand dynamics within the industrial chain.
Assisting in the maintenance of fundamental research models and gradually developing quantitative trading models.
Working with the trading team on trading strategies.
Reconciling daily physical and paper exposure and provide daily flash PNL estimates.
Key Requirements:
Educational background in Business, Finance, Shipping or STEM. Minimum 2 years relevant experience in oil & petrochemicals market. Strong knowledge of oil & petrochemical market fundamentals. Self-driven and resourceful with an outgoing personality. Strong collaborative attitude in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data/information. Excellent numerical ability and proficient in MS Office. Programming skills (VBA, Python, C+ or other) with knowledge of systematic trading welcomed. Good command of English and basic Mandarin will be an advantage.
