Job Description

Minimum Daily contact with ship owners and/or ship operators and/or trading houses and/or miners and/or end users within the dry cargo market to provide insight, market intelligence and information. Maintain up to date, detailed record of ship positions, cargo enquiries and market information a Maintain, nurture, and support existing lines of business by providing best in class service consistent with the company's values and standards. Negotiate the main terms of shipping contracts and ensure their performance in close coordination with the operations department. Maintain and build close relationship with the other departments within the company, and other desks to provide yourself and your clients with the best information and market understanding. Initiate, create, and build new lines of business by identifying emerging market participants. Prepare market report capturing the essence of the day's activities and offering opinion of the market going forward.

Key Requirement

Experience within LPG chartering. Proficient in Microsoft Office. A good negotiator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good network of clientele. * Confident and able to work well under pressure, with ability to adapt.
