What the role is:

Manager, Assets Services

What you will be working on:

As an integral member of our dynamic Finance team, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of LTA\'s assets (rails, roads, corporate infrastructure, etc) to ensure effective assets control, compliance with regulatory policies/standards and support strategic decision making on assets related initiatives to achieve optimal life-cycle benefits. This role will provide you with the opportunity to glean deep insights on the development of major land transport infrastructural assets in Singapore and co-solution with our internal business groups or external stakeholders such as our Public Transport Operators to derive policies and processes for effective assets records management.

You may be offered longer term contract with good performance.

Your key roles include:

• leading a team to ensure timely completion of finance operations relating to assets accounting, reporting and management;
• reviewing the adequacy of Fixed Asset Management controls and procedures and put in place relevant internal controls to mitigate fixed asset risk;
• keeping abreast of latest developments on relevant SB-FRSs (e.g. 16, 116) and determine the business/accounting implications on business functions/processes to ensure compliance;
• executing year-end closing processes & liaise with internal/external auditors to support annual financial report preparation and audits;
• analysing and providing insights on fixed assets data to support strategic decision making;
• leading/participating in digitalisation/transformational initiatives to enhance operational processes to achieve work efficiency;
• partnering our business groups and internal/external stakeholders in the management and custodian of these assets through the asset\'s lifecycle.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 7 years\' relevant working experience with at least 3 years in supervisory position is preferred
• Effective team player who is committed and self-driven
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Meticulous with numbers and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP, data analytics/visualisation tools & Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an added advantage.
