What the role is:DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS SERVICE DEVELOPMENTWhat you will be working on:You will evaluate the applications for bus service licences, use of bus stop and monitors the operations of bus services to ensure compliance with the licensing conditions. In addition, you will be involved in the reviews of the public transport regulatory framework and tasked to recommend policies and schemes to improve the bus services so as to make public transport a choice mode. Beyond these, you will need to liaise frequently with other government agencies, bus operators, private organisations and community leaders, as well as attend to public feedback.What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline with at least 2 years in a supervisory position
- Strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and exercise initiative
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
