Job Description

As part of the Investigations team, your essential role is to conduct investigations into violations of the Road Traffic Act, other Acts under LTA\xe2\x80\x99s administration and their subsidiary legislations. Based on your analysis of the evidence gathered and circumstances of each case, you are required to recommend the appropriate actions to be taken against such offenders. In addition, you would be tasked to assess and respond to appeals arising from the offences committed. You would also be involved in recording complaints against suspected infringements and handling general enquiries, made by members of public, motorists or other agencies. [What the role is]
PRINCIPAL/ SENIOR EXECUTIVE, INVESTIGATIONS & INTELLIGENCE [What you will be working on]
Primarily, you will be responsible for the collection and gathering of information to help augment the enforcement and regulatory functions of the Authority. You are required to identify information gaps to ensure that data & information of value are comprehensive and promptly captured. Part of your work will involve collaboration with external agencies and looking at new technologies to help improve the present regulatory and enforcement processes. You may also be required to conduct investigations into violations of the Road Traffic Act, other Acts under LTA\xe2\x80\x99s administration and their subsidiary legislations.

• Diploma, with at least 5 years of working experience.
• Strong operational experience in a dynamic, information-intensive and time-sensitive environment.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Analytical, with the ability to think critically and beyond the surface.
• Resourceful, self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team.
• Candidates with a background in law, enforcement, criminology, statistics or other relevant fields may have an added advantage.
