Responsibilities:
Provide frontline support on daily operation activities related to facilities management (including building maintenance/repairs; office pantry/common areas maintenance; office furniture/equipment upkeep/maintenance; office stationary; company buses; staff canteen; company vehicles, pest control, etc).
Synchronize work arrangements with internal and external service providers and ensure all activities are carried out safely and efficiently to support business operations.
Source and evaluate service providers/vendors/contractors for goods and services, prepare justifications for management approval and contract management.
Maintain systematic and accurate filing of records and files.
Coordinate activities based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS651 requirements.
Involved in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) initiatives including secretariat support in WSH Committee, manage risk assessments and coordinate safety suggestions and near-misses update.
Provide operational support during Plant Shutdown Maintenance once every two years.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management in the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health practices and ISO standards.
A team player with excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
An organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
