Scope of Work:

Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels (mainly in harbour)
Perform maintenance works onboard vessels in shipyard occasionally
Perform maintenance works on shore-based systems
Perform defect troubleshoot till module/card level onboard vessels or shore-based systems
Perform repairs to modules and PCBA in workshop
Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems
Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies
Perform technical admin work including quotations, closing jobs, service reports, etc.

Academic Qualification:

Diploma/Degree on Electronics Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/ Digital and Network Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/IT/Software
Aerospace Engineering certifications with Electronics Engineering modules may also apply
RSN maintenance training certifications would be considered

Experience: (would be advantageous)

Working knowledge and experience working in on-board commercial and military vessels on Communications and Electronics systems
Window or Linux OS administration (installation and troubleshooting) experience
Working knowledge and experience on computer systems
Understanding maintenance regime and basic experience in troubleshooting system till card level.
Training would be provided if necessary.
