Main job scope:

Maintenance scheduler is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities within an organization. Their primary role is to ensure that equipment, machinery, facilities, or systems are properly maintained to prevent downtime, minimize disruptions, and extend the lifespan of assets.

The company produces chemicals, polymers, performance chemicals, agri-nutrients, metals, and specialties, catering to various industries such as automotive, electronics, packaging, construction, healthcare, agriculture, and more.

The company has been actively putting ESG initiative in the product development, technology, resources and internal business operation.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating approved work orders (both preventive and reactive) using a scheduling tool:
• Ensuring alignment of maintenance team-executed CAPEX projects and resource utilization with the scheduling tool.
• Monitoring the synchronized log on a daily basis.
• Distributing the approved schedule and necessary task lists to inform all Production Unit (PU) personnel and Contractors.
• Initiating scheduled preventive and routine work orders.
• Verifying material availability post schedule establishment.
• Collaborating with preventive and reactive planners to address material availability or scheduling issues.
• Updating and publishing progress of schedules.
• Ensuring accurate provision of planned and scheduled resources.
• Gathering input from the workshop regarding equipment overhaul durations and the latest re-installation date.
• Conducting various meetings, including daily and weekly resource coordination sessions, and comprehensive weekly schedule coordination meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years\' experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in petrochemical industry
• Open to maintenance engineers who want to explore maintenance scheduling career route
• Good communication and stakeholders management skill
• Organised and detailed planning skill
