The Role with Us

The Managed Service Capability Lead will own the Architecture Runway, Development Value Streams and solutions, that deliver our managed service vision, strategy and roadmap.

This role is will work with the Technology Leads, Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s Sales and Solution teams, Telstra Alliance and key vendor partners and Telstra Product and Technology team to support the strategy, roadmap, and development of existing and new propositions across Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s Cloud Portfolio, including Managed Services handling: Lean Agile Leadership, Lean Portfolio Management, Solution Management, and Enterprise and Solution Architecture.

Key Accountabilities

As the Managed Service Capability Lead, you will form part of the newly created Enterprise Technology Growth function, focused on driving innovative technology services and solutions in a consistent global framework, increasing our speed to market. You will be responsible for the development of new managed services and solutions, bringing technology leadership and expertise to the solution development process, setting the technology direction and driving best practice methodologies in Enterprise Architecture, Lean, Agile, DevOps and Service Design.

The Managed Service Capability Lead will work on Proposition Development and Accelerating Sales \xe2\x80\x93 working with the Technology Leads, Product Teams, Business Transformation Teams, and Purple Services to develop new service propositions for Telstra International to take to market, assisting the sales team to differentiate Telstra\xe2\x80\x99s value to shape and influence client initiatives.

You are expected to deliver the following responsibilities:

  • Lean-Agile Leadership - Drive and sustain organizational change and operational excellence by empowering individuals and teams to reach their highest potential.
  • Lean Portfolio Management - alignment and governance of the Development Value Streams (DVS) creating Technology products and services for Telstra International. This roles covers aspects of strategy and investment funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and Lean Governance
  • Enterprise Services Architecture - provide the vision, evolution, and communication for Telstra Enterprise International\xe2\x80\x99s managed services architecture, creating the strategy and portfolio-level technical service roadmaps for new and innovative service offerings.
  • Solution Architecture - defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural services framework to help ensure the solution under development will be fit for its intended purpose.
  • Product/Solution Management - responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable service solutions that meet customer needs and for supporting the development across the solution life cycle.
About You

To be successful in the role, you must have highly developed skills and experience in customer management, enterprise consulting and cloud solutions, including:
  • Demonstrated experience in technology industry
  • Strong experience in a Business or Technical Product Owner role
  • Cloud & Security experience with strong understanding of the cloud ecosystem to identify opportunities to drive innovation, with demonstrated ability to develop plans and execute delivery to achieve desired results
  • Experience in delivering projects and a background in Managed Services Capability Development
  • Experience in prioritizing deliverable business value with decisiveness and direction
  • Amazing facilitation and influencing skills that draw the most out of all participants and converge rapidly on an outcome
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and can be self-directed with little guidance from management
  • Providing a vision and the ability to influence senior stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 internal and external
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and terminology
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and launching new business propositions from a fast moving environment
  • Experience in designing/delivery of key strategic cloud solutions and demonstrated experience in building, configuring, designing, migration of hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of the complexities of migration and enterprise project exposure
  • Demonstrable experience in producing quality documentation
  • Exposure to various methodologies, best practices and technologies
  • Up to date certifications on one or more relevant technologies
  • Passion for latest technology advancements and self-development
  • Dynamic, approachable, easy to work with, instilling a positive and proactive attitude
