• Management consultants provide strategic, unbiased and objective advisory services which assist organisations in improving productivity and overall performance.
• Advisory expertise covers areas such as change management, financial performance, marketing, business restructuring, and human resources, with an emphasis on managing risks and costs.
• consultants work in project teams
• a typical project will involve meeting with clients and researching and analysing data, after which you will present recommendations to the clients and set a schedule for implementing improvements.
• beyond individual projects, you will also participate in networking activities and develop new strategic tools and techiniques in areas of specialists expertise

Requirements The qualities necessary for success on the job include communication skills, team collaboration skills, and organisational skills.

• Diploma or above in business or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in similar role
• Ideally have done some sort of strategy consulting role
• Could have also done this type of role in house; possibly a corporate development type function
• at least 5 years experience as a Management Consultant or another relevant role
• Familiarity with common business software, project management programs and IT systems
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Effectively deliver projects on-time, on-budget within the scope that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations
• Demonstrated experience in project management of extensive multi-phase projects
• Impeccable organizational skills
• Strong working knowledge of business management best practices
• Aptitude for analytical and creative thinking
• Responsible and responsive \xe2\x80\x93 must have a great sense of responsibility towards work and be quick in responding to work queries and requests from relevant stakeholders
