The Advancement Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and connection among the university\'s donor\xe2\x80\x99s networks. By nurturing relationships, providing meaningful opportunities for engagement, and leveraging donor\xe2\x80\x99s support, the Advancement Manager contributes to the long-term success and advancement of the university.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for building and cultivating new relationships with donors/sponsors to grow support base and to deepen engagement over time
Stewardship of $1,000,000 (per year) donation to new donors
Identify and match the donors/prospects\xe2\x80\x99 giving interests to align with the school\xe2\x80\x99s priorities and needs
Management of relationships with donors and maintaining regular touchpoints to keep donor apprised of their gift impact to the school
Stewardship of key donors to deepen relations for long term support to generate greater involvement in the school\xe2\x80\x99s mission through donations, partnerships, and volunteering
Engage and steward existing donors to ensure effective management of sponsorship resources employed in programmes/services/projects, including timely and accurate impact reports/updates and gift administration
Identify and cultivate alumni prospects for philanthropic giving, supporting fundraising campaigns and initiatives
Work closely with donors to ensure proper acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship of their contributions
\xe2\x80\x8bCollaborate with other stakeholders for fundraising opportunities, including major gifts, planned giving, and alumni-driven campaigns
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in a related field. A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Advancement, sales, eengagement, alumni relations, development, or related fields.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including alumni, volunteers, and donors.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire others.
Experience in event planning and execution.
Proficiency in database management and CRM systems.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for alumni events and activities.
This is a 3 years contract appointment.
