Job Purpose

The Commercial Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive awareness and adoption of the Interventional Access portfolio amongst physicians. This role works with regional and global counterparts, and sales leaders to execute on objectives for applicable markets and segments.

The incumbent strategically plans and tactically executes regional strategic marketing programs for the region, ensuring maximum market penetration and revenue growth.

This role is integral to the rapid adoption of Interventional Access portfolio and provides excellence in team leadership, strategic marketing, driving change, and ensuring collaboration through Sales, Regional Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Clinical Affairs teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in commercial marketing, as well as be able to align marketing activities with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities, across Markets and Business Units

  • Develop, direct, manage, and support deliverables in all aspects of marketing strategy resulting in increased therapy adoption.
  • Develop, direct, manage, and support deliverables in all aspects of marketing and lead generation programs that enable the attainment of sales and marketing goals.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies and action plans that will generate growth within the region to increase product utilization and market share.
  • Collect and analyse information on competitive product offerings, including features, benefits, pricing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing status. Communicate and drive competitive strategies with the regional teams.
  • Analyze relevant market data to strategically select markets of focus to develop comprehensive and progressive marketing strategies that encompass physician and patient education.
  • Transmit effectively key messages, positioning and brand of Teleflex/ IABU.
  • Establish productive working relationships with regional teams to deliver regular marketing and business alignment review.
  • Partner with regional teams to analyze and report the effectiveness of integration, implementation, and performance of physician education programs.
  • Be a trusted partner to physicians with ability to establish strong engagement with APAC IABU KOL networks.
  • Develop and execute marketing communication plans to support the overall marketing strategy.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing Lead (APAC) to implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media advertising, and content marketing, to drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage and maintain the business unit\'s digital sharing platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information across digital platforms.
  • Stay up to date on key publications, trials, indications, society guidelines, and market dynamics and reflect to the communication / marketing strategy.
  • Manage the marketing communications budget for the business unit, ensuring effective allocation of resources and monitoring expenses.
  • Ensure that Sales, Clinical, Training, and other functions are kept informed of any technical, market or strategic issues that may affect plans and execution.
  • Perform other tasks as requested.
Key Relationships / Interfaces

Essential Skills / Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of healthcare marketing experience to physicians and healthcare professionals, working in matrixed multinational organization.
  • A substantive knowledge of the Cardiovascular, including Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and Structural Heart related medical device industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to act as a business partner with strong business acumen, critical thinking, commercial focus, and customer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle communication across levels of various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
  • Ability to travel, up to 30-45%
