Responsible for initiating, developing and supporting artists\xe2\x80\x99 relationships for the gallery
To manage and drive key targets/objectives identified for STPI artists\xe2\x80\x99 portfolios
To provide exceptional support in strategy as well as execution in the development of key artists\xe2\x80\x99 portfolios
ARTIST LIAISON PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
Manage STPI\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of represented artists by successfully achieving short term and long-term goals identified with a clear work scope schedule
Oversee and manage all aspects of project planning and execution related to the represented artists\xe2\x80\x99 exhibitions/presentations/projects
FOSTERING RELATIONSHIPS Clients:
Develop and maintain an organized client database to generate client analytics, create presales target lists
Develop a roster of new client outreach strategies to expand the client database and build/nurture long-lasting client relationships
Work closely with the sales team to run the Friends of STPI membership portfolio from conceptualizing to execution of program ideas with the represented artists involved
Engage existing clients through innovative and creative content and campaigns to deepen the relationship with the artists
Coordinate and work closely with the Comms/Marketing team on lead generation
Institutions:
Foster relationships with institutions and curators for acquisition purposes
Develop opportunities for the artist\xe2\x80\x99s practice/artworks to be presented on global international platforms, eg Biennales, Triennales
OTHERS
Secretariat for all meetings with artists and gallery
Execute all acquisition or donation paperwork
Handle all copyright matters and correspondence
Managing agreements to ensure the existing agreements/contracts are renewed on a timely manner
Monitor the FY budget allocated to the management of each of the artists
Coordinate and schedule studio visits for clients, curators, academics, press when needed
Together with Sales team, assist to implement strategic sales plan to generate more sales opportunities for the represented artists
Carrying out research and generating a data bank of information for each artist\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio
Work closely with the Comms team to develop effective and impactful marketing/publicity opportunities for each of the artists
All other ad-hoc duties to support Gallery Director
Job Specifications:
A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in art discipline with at least 5 years of relevant work experience is an added advantage
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in in a museum or gallery environment, artist liaison background a strong asset
Driven, strong sense of commitment and motivation to succeed in any given tasks
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to be a team player
Strong organizational with highly detail-oriented execution skills
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with self-initiative and good time management
Strong adaptability to a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
