What the role is:As Manager or Assistant Manager (Estate Management) of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), you will play a key role in the setting up and management of CDA\'s offices. The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapore\'s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. It will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time for a smooth transition to the CDA.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities include the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Be involved in the planning and management of CDA\'s office leases as well as CDA\'s office space resources \xe2\x80\xa2 Be part of the project team managing the full scale renovation project for CDA offices, including the design consultancy process, to ensure CDA\'s offices reflect its corporate identity and provide a conducive environment for staff. This involves managing the full spectrum of CDA renovation projects, including procurement, project management and stakeholder management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee any renovations and refurbishments projects as part of steady-state work \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead projects and initiatives to upgrade the workplace to enhance staff\'s experience and provide a conducive environment to support divisional operational needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and track budget expenditure and utilisation for the Facilities Management team \xe2\x80\xa2 Be involved in the planning of CDA\'s long term office needs The jobholder may be activated for duty on weekends and after office hours, as and when the need arises.What we are looking for:Job Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years of relevant working experience in facilities/estate management is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Building related fields is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills to co-create solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good team player. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and self-driven with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and perform under pressure and tight timelines.
