Manager/ Assistant Manager (finance) Contract
Job Description
What the role is:This is a 6-month contract role with the Ministry of Digital Development and Information\'s Finance Department.What you will be working on:1. Process finance transactions in compliance with internal policies and guidelines to relevant government IMs, including payment/billings and grant disbursements. 2. Provide support to budget officers in the areas of budgeting and utilisation management. 3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of funding decisions, including tracking of project progress updates 4. Review to ensure that anomalies and unusual trends are validated, and errors are rectified timely 5. Ensure SOP for finance operations are documented and kept up to speed 6. Assist in ad hoc projects as assignedWhat we are looking for:
- Good organisational skills, meticulous, numerically inclined, strong analytical capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in management accounting principles, with experience in budgeting function. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in consolidating large volume of data, with good MS Excel skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of data visualisation software (e.g. Power BI and Tableau) will be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with public sector finance system and budgeting will be an advantage.
