Job Description


The personnel is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities within the organization. This role involves implementing BIM processes and workflows, managing BIM projects, and ensuring the successful integration of BIM technology into the organization\'s construction and design projects. The BIM Manager collaborates with various departments, project teams, and stakeholders to optimize BIM implementation and drive efficiency in the project delivery process.

Responsibilities:

  • BIM Implementation: Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistent and efficient BIM practices across projects.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM technology and methodologies into the project lifecycle, from concept development to construction and facility management stages.
  • BIM Modeling: Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Software Management: Evaluate, select, and manage BIM software tools, plugins, and applications, keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM technology.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders to enhance their BIM proficiency and understanding of BIM processes.
  • Clash Detection and Coordination: Implement clash detection procedures and manage coordination meetings to resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM models, promoting clash-free designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Review BIM models and project deliverables to ensure compliance with project standards, accuracy, and quality.
  • Data Management: Manage BIM data and ensure proper documentation, version control, and data security.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and information exchange among various project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor BIM performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to optimize BIM implementation and efficiency.
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of industry best practices, BIM standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and requirements.
  • Innovation: Explore and propose innovative BIM solutions and techniques to enhance project efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing BIM on construction projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Solibri Model Checker
  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to address BIM-related challenges.
  • Leadership qualities to guide and mentor team members in BIM processes.
  • Understanding of construction and design project lifecycles.
