Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to drive BIM and Digital Delivery for the Changi East Programme (T5 and associated projects). You will be responsible for the success of BIM across the CE programme, overseeing the development and maintenance of the programme\'s digital delivery roadmap, strategy, and requirements and in ensuring the execution of BIM is being delivered in alignment with these standards. As part of your portfolio, you will leadership to insourced and outsourced BIM professionals and will need to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors.

Responsibility:

• Lead the development and maintenance of the Changi East (CE) BIM policy, strategy, and requirements (e.g. Asset Data Requirements, Employers Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plan, etc), with regular reviews and improvements.
• As the client\'s BIM lead, set direction and manage our appointed consultants and contractors on BIM execution and to ensure CE\'s BIM policies and requirements are implemented.
• Ensure consultants and contractors BIM team are competent and fulfill CE\'s requirements.
• Provide guidance to CE project teams, consultants and contractors on BIM matters.
• Work with project teams to review BIM model and relevant deliverables submitted by consultants and contractors. Ensure models/drawings accuracy based on BIM standards/requirements.
• Oversee and interface with the design team and information managers for information coordination. Use BIM tools to support design and construction interfacing (e.g. clash detection etc).
• Drive and implement Digital Delivery initiatives and strategies, e.g. develop CE digital construction management strategy, engage vendors and service providers to gather market intelligence and feedback, develop client\'s brief, get vendor/service providers on board through tender, set up and run the platform with the vendor/service providers, and be responsible for the implementation by various parties working in CE, etc.
• Keep up-to-date with advancement in BIM/digital technologies.
• Provide regular reporting to management on the progress and status of CE wide BIM/Digital Delivery.
• Provide/organize BIM/Digital Delivery related training for CE staff, consultants, and contractors when required.

• Possess a Degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent, with at least 10 years relevant experience in construction, design, BIM implementation management or related field.
• Preferably have at least 5 years of experience as a BIM Lead/Manager role at company level overseeing BIM management in a design, engineering or construction firm for large projects, and have completed a full project cycle.
• Experienced in successfully instituting BIM Company Deployment Plans as well as implemented Project BIM Execution Plans for different projects
• Highly proficient in the use of BIM software and in establishing required processes, procedures and framework for BIM in projects.
• Formally trained BIM professional, familiar with BCA BIM regulations and with deep understanding of ISO19650 and BIM practices in Singapore. Preferably completed a certification course in relevant BIM/Digital Delivery.
• Familiar with various aspects of engineering i.e Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. A strong team player who is flexible and able to multi-task.
• Good leadership skills.
• Good interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
