The position is responsible for the provision of solutions required for the success of strategic initiatives for the Group.

They will drive the delivery of additional and sustainable value to existing and potential partners in the region, by focusing on service, total value advantage, risk management and innovation across all Hotel spend.

Primary Responsibilities

Delivery of contracts value

  • Cover the \xe2\x80\x9csource to contract\xe2\x80\x9d process from needs analysis through to supplier negotiation and legal and operational implementation of national and regional agreements.
  • Lead risk management initiatives by ensuring suppliers align with Ethics and Responsible Procurement Charter, Data policies and complete KYC Process.
  • Lead packaging of negotiated value proposition for owners and internal leaders.
Compliance
  • Drives the communication of national, regional and global contracts of value through the region.
  • Use tools for tracking regional, country and Hotel-level compliance of nominated suppliers
  • Leverage knowledge of internal leaders, suppliers and Hotels to convert opportunities for business development.
Review and delivery of optimized processes
  • Identify processes for procurement related activities to be improved upon, and propose alternate solutions.
  • Use tools for concise communication of department progress.
Other Responsibilities
  • Assist Director of Procurement with implementation of strategic roadmap for region
  • Support the deployment of digital solutions related to closing the procure-to-pay loop
  • Coordinate with IT, Operations, Suppliers and Digital partners to support optimizing onboarding
  • Enhance specific category knowledge across key internal stakeholders and hotels
  • Stay engaged in the broader industry trends and available resources including GPO competitor landscape
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • Experience in hospitality procurement within the region is a plus
  • Good user knowledge of Microsoft suite and digital tools related to procurement
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to changes effectively
  • Professional with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical, presentation and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute in a team
  • Possess Guest-driven, entrepreneurial & systems-thinking mindset
  • Rapid ability to research, learn, analyses data and problem solve
  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
