Job Purpose

The incumbent is part of the Centre Shared Services unit and will work closely with the Directors/Deputy Directors as well as the various stakeholders of the Centres in managing and overseeing the operations, general administration, human resource matters, budget and research funds.



He/She will manage the daily operations and resource planning of the Centres, which includes: * Visiting Researchers, Internship or Fellowship programmes

• Finance, Human Resource & General Administration
• Publication of Working Papers
• Web & Social Media Administration
• Preparation of Reports for the Research Centres
• Organise centre events which includes annual conferences, Lectures, round-table discussions, workshops, seminars and visits.
• Research Programmes/ Symposiums/ Projects

Qualifications

• Possess a recognised university degree in any discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a managerial position.
• Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & Word
• Good analytical, writing, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with a high degree of stress tolerance
• Meticulous, independent, resourceful, responsible, responsive and adaptable to changes
• Possesses hands-on leadership skills, multi-tasking ability and positive work attitude
• Familiar with social media and web applications. (Those familiar with video editing, web posting and Canva will be at an advantage.)
• Enjoys working on a variety of tasks
