Reporting to the Head, Corporate Communications, Capitaland Development, you will manage and execute integrated corporate communication strategies to enhance the company\xe2\x80\x99s reputation.
Responsibilities
Media communications
Craft communications materials including news releases, Q&As, speeches, talking points, factsheets, year-in-review features and thought leadership articles
Identify media opportunities, pitch media stories, organise media briefings and manage media requests
Manage communications for incidents, issues, and crises
Monitor coverage of the company and key industry developments across print, online, broadcast and social media platforms, as well as track the performance of media communications efforts
Work with overseas colleagues to manage communication activities, as required
Branding communications
Provide strategic input for the corporate brand, including working with in-house designer and/or vendors to develop style guides, templates, advertisements, videos and other materials
Organise brand campaigns with the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision, mission, and objectives in mind; and advise internal and external stakeholders on matters relevant to the brand
Organise corporate events, including liaison with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth execution
Social media and website content management
Contribute compelling content to drive engagement for @CapitaLand social media accounts
Develop, maintain, and update website content, and provide strategic input to improve the website\xe2\x80\x99s user experience and performance metrics
Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in digital media, design tools and applications
Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an established university. Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Arts preferred
At least 8 years of relevant Corporate Communications experience, preferably in a regional/global communications role
Strategic mindset to lead, manage and execute projects
Growth mindset with willingness to acquire relevant skills to excel in a digital-first communications environment
Experience in crafting compelling thought leadership content and securing media coverage is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English. Strong command of Chinese is an advantage
Established relationships with the media and has track record in garnering positive coverage in key media
Experienced in procurement, event planning and vendor relationships
Experienced in managing social media accounts and websites, with ability to analyse and improve the performance of communications efforts on social media and websites
Strong sense of aesthetics and copywriting skills, and is able to create engaging content across multimedia channels such as videos and podcasts
Results-driven, independent, enthusiastic, committed and able to work under tight deadlines
