Job Description


What the role is:We are looking for dedicated and passionate corporate communications specialists to join our team in developing and managing our media publicity and engagement programmes.The successful candidate will contribute to:

  • Building and sustaining a strong organisational culture,
  • Enhancing IRAS\' corporate image through communication strategies, systems and relationships, and
  • Engaging the key communications functions of sense-making and insights, communications strategy and planning, media relations, digital media, outreach and engagement, internal communications and marketing communications.
What you will be working on:
  • Develop communication strategies to engage stakeholders, including the media, members of public and to help promote and shape public comms narratives on tax-related initiatives and services.
  • Create content including photos, videos, branding collaterals, infographics and other related visual content that strengthens the organisation\'s storytelling strength. To work with our business units to produce the required assets for tax comms and corporate messages. These candidates are expected to be familiar with the Adobe Suite.
  • Managing and monitoring the organisation\'s brand on social media.
  • Manage media and online sentiment monitoring, and leverage data and polls to better guide digital comms strategies.
  • Build relationships with media partners, digital publishers and increase brand presence, while gathering knowledge of industry trends.
  • Running organisation\'s internal communications campaigns which includes formulating written and visual content to promote corporate messages.
What we are looking for:We are seeking a candidate preferably with a background in Communications or Mass Communications and experience in media relations, community engagement, or marketing communications. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A pleasant personality, excellent presentation, speaking and writing skills.
  • Diplomacy in negotiating and dealing with stakeholders.
  • Experience in visual communications and content creation, with the ability to produce visual content such as images or videos.
  • A passion for content creation, comfort on camera, and a knack for engaging audiences on social media.
