[What you will be working on]

As part of our team, you\'ll be involved in the following key areas:

Strategy Formulation

- Leverage data and advanced analytics to understand taxpayer segments and predict behaviours, enabling us to prioritise strategies aligned with our business objectives

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to co-design and develop new compliance tools and initiatives, driving innovation in our field

Data Analytics

- Utilise cutting-edge analytics tools to explore opportunities and achieve organisational objectives

- Prepare and analyse data, as well as develop and maintain analytics models, to address business needs and develop intervention measures for compliance and service enhancements

- Develop interactive dashboards that support reporting and performance monitoring, providing business users with valuable insights and new perspectives

- Promote the use of analytics tools and foster a "data first" mentality, empowering our team to make data-driven decisions

- Provide basic training on the application of analytical tools to end-user officers, enabling them to leverage data effectively

Data Governance and Management

- Facilitate data sharing with external agencies, working closely to understand and fulfil data requirements, and adhering to the data government framework

- Ensure data quality standards are met, implementing and tracking progress of data quality initiatives within the division

- Collaborate with other divisions within IRAS to drive data-related initiatives

Review and operationalise data policies and procedures to comply with relevant guidelines and regulations

Enhancements and Continual Improvements

- Actively contribute ideas and feedback to improve the use of analytics solutions in achieving business objectives

- Identify opportunities to leverage relevant technologies (e.g. Python, RPA, data analytics) and methodologies (e.g. behavioural insights & design) to streamline processes and enhance service delivery

- Participate in key activities and milestones of digital projects, leveraging your expertise to drive successful implementations

[What we are looking for]

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following:

- Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline. Data Analytics or Statistics-related fields are preferred

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a logical and organised approach to handling and analysing information

- Inquisitive mindset with the ability to question, probe, and analyse data effectively

- Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently in a team environment
