You will have the opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the future of tax administration.What you will be working on:As part of our team, you\'ll be involved in the following key areas:\xc2\xb7 Audit taxpayers suspected of involvement in the Missing Trader Fraud.\xc2\xb7 Gather and analyse transaction data across the supply chain to detect fraudulent arrangements.\xc2\xb7 Interview taxpayers and related individuals to establish their participation in fraudulent activities.\xc2\xb7 Obtain third-party information to corroborate evidence and uncover inconsistencies in taxpayers\' representations.\xc2\xb7 Prepare audit findings and recommend actions to be taken.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate closely with colleagues at IRAS to coordinate joint criminal and civil actions, including planning and participating in joint operations.You will have the opportunity to contribute to continual improvement and enhancements in our work processes, by providing feedback and innovative ideas to improve taxpayers\' compliance and streamline operations.
