Manager, Data Governance (contract)

Job Description
Job Purpose
To design and implement corporate data governance strategy and framework.
Responsibilities
- Define and design organisation\'s data management and governance strategy.
- Implementation of data management policies and standard operating procedures.
- Initiate data governance activities to ensure alignment and effective implementation across business Groups
- Review data processing architecture and data sharing practice
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of data governance and advocate data management practices
- Degree holder in Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance
- Certification in industry standards data architectural discipline related (eg. DCAM)
- Prior experience in implementing Data Governance Framework and Standards would be advantageous
- Understanding in data management tools
- Knowledge in data mining principles
- Proficient with data engineering methods and technologies, Azure Cloud proficiency will be an advantage
- Experience in working in a diverse organisation and across business processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skill
