What the role is:You manage the implementation of MINDEF\'s defence technology security policies so as to safeguard Singapore\'s defence and security interests.What you will be working on:You examine defence systems and technologies to assess the impact of their transfers. To do so effectively, you will need to collaborate and interact with internal and external agencies. You carry out technical assessments of defence equipment and technologies related to non-proliferation and export controls. You also conduct analytical studies related to the job. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of developments in strategic issues and current affairs that are related to export control and non-proliferation.What we are looking for:You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in a Technical or Scientific field. Having prior experience and knowledge in defence-related work and/or export control is advantageous. Possession of good communication and writing skills is essential. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience. (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
