Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be the part of a start-up team building an innovative platform leveraging data, analytics to drive automated decision-making, smart automation across the full lifecycle of the business.   • Build services with a framework and generic pattern mindset for scale across multiple dimensions - optimized compute/performance, functional, visualization, quality control
  • Develop scalable real-time low-latency processing solutions in an agile delivery method
  • Maintain data & analytics for systematic decision-making, processing / controls
  • Develop and maintain automated testing
  • Do whatever it takes to maintain stability, availability and performance
  • Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver solutions - deep understanding of the problem and context along with ownership are key to be successful in this role
  • Work closely with Singapore based team on the platform.
The successful candidate is expected to be an experienced developer in building critical low-latency/data-analytics driven solutions in investment banking/hedge funds/technology companies (low-latency trading systems or AdTech sector). This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • You\'ve built something exceptional you can showcase - demos/github/detailed explanation etc..
  • Ability to think "Product/platform" with a strong alignment with expected business outcomes/journeys
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding and demonstrable experience of modern architecture/designs - micro-services/API-first development/high-throughput/event-driven/agent-based system, compositional frameworks
  • Ability to scope minimum viable functionalities for quick and iterative/incremental deliveries - this is a must for the candidate
  • Core Java knowledge
  • Proven experience in low latency, real-time, scalable systems, systematic trading, targeting / recommender systems, garbage collector, queuing, scheduling, complex events processing (CEP)
  • Technical knowledge in a no-SQL / doc / columnar DB such as mongoDB, kdb, shell scripts in Linux/Unix environment and or windows-based environments
  • Knowledge and some practical experience in modern dev-ops - CI/CD, containerization, orchestration
  • knowledge and experience in FIX, Market Data, Analytics and OMS is a plus
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum-Kanban and related tools - JIRA, Confluence
  • Knowledge of bonds electronic markets is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge and handon on CICD integration tools like (bitbucket, maven, sonarqube, nexus/artifactory, Jenkins etc)
  • In depth knowledge on Jenkins or related tool to design and implement a complete CICD framework
  • Hands on in Jenkins pipeline scripts
  • Knowledge in scripting languages like Bash/Python
  • Knowledge in cloud infrastructure services is a plus
  • Knowledge on test integration & automation tools.
  • One of the orchestration tools like Ansible
  • Hands on Docker & kubernetes are plus
  • Application trouble shooting skill
  • Linux is plus
  • Must have knowledge on networking, server and application architecture
  • Knowledge on real time monitoring & reporting tools like (Datadog/newrelic/appdynamic/ELK)

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 7 and more years of relevant experiences with technical knowledge in a no-SQL / doc / columnar DB such as mongoDB, kdb, shell scripts in Linux/Unix environment and or windows-based environments
Other desirable skills/knowledge:
  • Data-analysis / machine learning concepts
  • Some very basic knowledge of UI concepts - javascript/html5/openfin/electronjs
