Job Description


What the role is:

Conceptualises, curates, and contextualises contents to communicate NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s work, mission, and objectives through its social media channels and other digital platforms in support of building the Institute\xe2\x80\x99s online presence.

Plans, budgets for and executes timely and innovative marketing and communication plans, including digital course publicity and other innovative comms-related and branding initiatives that would enhance NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s training outreach to the PA staff and grassroots leaders and the Institute\xe2\x80\x99s positioning as the forefront in community leadership.

Provides inputs and advice to NACLI staff on all communications-related matters to ensure consistency of branding and professional corporate identity.

Serves as media liaison for major NACLI projects and events and provide publicity and media support where required.

What you will be working on:

Digital Comms and Social Media Engagement

  • Conceptualises and curate customised contents to communicate NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s work through social media channels
  • Works closely with vendors, appointed marketing, media & digital agencies, internal stakeholders to align and execute comms plans
  • Monitors, tracks and analyses news/opportunities/trends, especially in the social/new media scene, which NACLI may harness to increase outreach
  • Helps build in-house expertise in mobile and social media marketing and conduct best practice sharing sessions
  • Ensures information about NACLI on website and social media channels are updated
  • Manages NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s media assets for proper archival and to coordinate all photo/videography requests at events
  • Advises on reproduction/duplication of multimedia materials and ensure adherence of copyright laws
  • Retrieves and recommends NACLI media assets (e.g. photos/videos) for submission to PA such as for annual reports, etc.
Training Communications

Corporate Branding
  • Proposes and implements on-campus publicity initiatives, e.g. campus signages, billboards, posters, wall displays, inspirational quotes, marketing stickers, notice boards and display showcases.
  • Proposes and manages the production of tiered corporate collateral ranging from corporate gifts for speakers and guests, corporate kits for visitors, marketing brochures, learning aids, corporate presentation templates to enhance NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s corporate image and identity.
  • Proposes and manages the production of NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s corporate attire, email signature templates etc.
  • Spearheads the production of corporate videos e.g. year-in-review video, corporate video, programmes and facilities marketing videos, post-programme videos etc.
Communications and Marketing
  • Conceptualises and plans the production of electronic direct mailers (EDMs) for marketing of courses.
  • Plans, initiates, and works closely with internal stakeholders on the production of NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s quarterly training calendar.
  • Develops course announcements/nomination notice/marketing brochures, blurbs to market and publicise NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s training programmes to PA staff, GRLs and relevant external organisations.
  • Conducts market research on training outreach and facilities rental-related businesses where required.
  • Provides communications advice and support for NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s programmes, e.g. invitation design, backdrop design, programme sheets, collateral giveaways etc.
Media and Publicity
  • Spearheads media publicity of all NACLI projects such as developing media angles, drafting media releases, organising media conferences, preparing media kits and liaising with both formal and informal media to create mindshare about NACLI and its training programmes.
  • Monitors, records, and compiles media coverage for all NACLI projects and route information to relevant staff for information.
  • Assists in drafting papers and reports on NACLI\xe2\x80\x99s publicity-related matters.
  • Assists in comms-related aspects of official visits and training-related events e.g. arrange for corporate presentation, gifts, photography, etc.
  • Proposes replies for public feedback on NACLI, including those on the PA-NACLI email account and NACLI social media platforms.
What we are looking for:
  • Professional qualifications in marketing, digital communications, or related field
  • Preferably two years in marketing, digital communications and/or related work experience
  • Proficient in the Adobe CC suite of programmes, and image/video editing tools especially with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premier Pro Good working knowledge in graphic design, photography, video production and print production
  • Hands-on experience in conceptualising and creating content for social media platforms
