Job Description
Your duties essential for the job:
- Develop businesses in Singapore and Asia/Oceania region for NYK Group\xe2\x80\x99s
- Represent NYK Group\xe2\x80\x99s Energy Division and manage/establish good business
- Engage with external and internal stakeholders and coordinate each project as
- Manage and encourage NYK Group\xe2\x80\x99s local staff in countries in Asia/Oceania
- Collect intelligence relating to energy policies and situations in Asia/Oceania
- Fulfill any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the
Basic requirements:
- Expertise in vessel operations, chartering and commercial ship management for
- Well-versed in negotiating LNG ship time charter, ship management and
- Business experience in LNG supply chain.
- Related experience in ship financing and cashflow analysis.
- Related experience and knowledge of marine insurance.
- Basic knowledge of accounting.
- Willingness to travel worldwide where necessary.
- Bilingual in both English and Japanese to liaise with international and Japanese
- Experience in managing and leading a team in business.
- Attentive to details.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude and ability to work under stress.
- A team player with transparent working manner and willing to take ownership of
- Punctuality and good attendance is a MUST.
