JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare Cooling System (CS) design for bid submissions and potential projects using Heat load estimation and CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit to create 2D drawings such as equipment layouts, elevational and sectional drawings, schematic diagrams, etc. and 3D models of buildings which include mechanical and electrical aspects, etc
• Develop technical write-ups/proposals for bid submissions and potential projects
• Work with Project Development team to generate tender specifications and drawings for tender issuance to contractors and suppliers/vendors
• Liaise with Procurement team to issue tender documents to contractors and suppliers/vendors and evaluate tender submissions
• Review existing cooling plants\xe2\x80\x99 / chiller system operations and provide improvement suggestions/plans with a data driven approach
• Liaise with government agencies and appropriate regulatory/ certification authorities on necessary permits/ approvals and explore collaboration/co-development matters on new technology development in the cooling domain
• Support project execution and operations of chiller plant assets in India
• Provide Engineering and Design support for the region
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Professional qualification(s) such as AIEEE/IGBC AP etc. and familiarity with the latest Indian and International codes such as NBC, ISHRAE, ASHRAE will be highly regarded
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in air-conditioning system design, major retrofit works\xe2\x80\x99 design involving chiller plant systems preferably centralised water-cooled plants
• Experience in carrying Chiller plant Energy audits of existing projects
• Proficient in using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit and familiar with HVAC software such as HAP, ELITE, Pipe Sizer
• Familiarity with design, integration and deployment of renewable energy sources and energy efficient technologies (eg. BESS, Thermal Energy Storage) will have an added advantage
