Manager, Finance Insights - Platform - Finance (Singapore)

This Manager, Finance Insights - Platform will be based in Singapore and will report to the Director, Finance [SG].

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning

• Support annual, monthly and quarterly forecasting, liaising with key local and regional business stakeholders
• Ownership of live rolling forecast models, continuously challenging business assumptions
• Prepare detailed and accurate cash flow forecast providing variance analysis on performance run rate

Financial Analysis

• Conduct in depth variance analysis across all P&L lines
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership team, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities
• Explain the why and story behind the numbers to drive effective strategic decision making within the leadership team

Performance Metrics

• Track and understand key performance indicators across a number of business units within the Platform business
• Establish appropriate reporting & benchmarks

Strategy & Business Partnering

• Act a primary point of contact for select members of SG Platform leadership team
• Support business strategies by providing financial analysis / developing financial models to evaluate ad-hoc projects/ initiatives.
• Recommend and drive cost-saving initiatives, promoting a culture of efficiencies
• Drive continuous improvement of Finance processes, models, template and reporting
• Manage various other financial topics to support the team and provide ad-hoc support where needed

Requirements:

• CIMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA qualifications preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel/ Gsheets (e.g. Pivot Tables, vLookups etc.) and report automation (e.g. Google Datastudio)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities
• Strong sense of ownership to see projects to its completion
• Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employ a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Process-oriented as well as strong organizational skills with a hands-on mentality
• Team player with an ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience in a start-up is a plus
