Job Description

Our client is an establisehd real estate asset manager and they are recruiting for an Assistant Manager, Finance to be part of their dynamic team.

Reporting to the Financail Controller, you will be part of the finance business partnering team to support the various business teams to drive and achieve success in busines goals and targets.
Armed with a minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, you will be technically strong with a focus towards Finance business partnering roles, coupled with FP&A and controllership experience, it will be advantageous if you have experience in senior stakeholder\'s management to drive business performance review.

Key Requirements but not limited to:

• Participate in discussions with various business teams to acquire in-depth understanding of the business challenges and partner the teams to overcome business challenges to achieve intended performance
• Derive and deliver meaningful insights through review of monthly financial reporting, business modelling and analysis to improve decision making
• Lead/participate in corporate development initiatives to support and facilitate business growth, including tax planning and working with group tax department to identify opportunities to improve and achieve tax savings
• Responsible for budget planning and forecasting preparation and analysis, including peer benchmarking analysis to provide meaningful data points to identify improvement opportunities as well as drive better decision making
• Preparation of board materials and presentations to senior management on financial performance or any other corporate development initiatives
• Formulate and implement policies for Keppel group of companies and identify improvement opportunities in internal controls, processes, policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Support system implementation/improvements as necessary
• Support in ad hoc projects and other initiatives as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Good degree in accountancy or equivalent, CPA qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance with a bias towards Finance business partnering roles, coupled with FP&Aand controllership experience
• Technically strong and knowledge in IFRS/SFRS and relevant statutory requirements
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Experience in working alongside senior stakeholders to drive business financial performance
• High achiever, fast learner, able to deliver in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
• Analytical, resourceful & possesses good problem-solving capability
• Self-motivated, meticulous, able to work independently and proactively within a team
• Proficient in technology tools and data extraction/modelling/visualization tools
