JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Manager or Asst Senior Manager (Finance Shared Services) to join their team!

Finance Business Partner to provide financial advice and guidance to HQ\'s Administrative departments

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Acts as finance business advisor in the department\'s cross-functional and/or strategic projects/initiatives, including system development and implementation activities.
• Provide financial advice and work proactively with departments to achieve both financial and business goals.
• Budget submission, allocation, management reporting and submission of report to MOE.
• Set up FastPay collections links for students\' activities.
• Analysis of information to provide business insights to support decision making and drive performance in business.
• Conduct regular reviews of department finance records such as debtors aging, balance sheet GLs, dormant accounts, grant accounts, etc. to ensure validity and accuracy.
• Liaise with shared services teams on accounting issues.

Approver roles for: -
a) finance master data such as requests for WBS / Grant Master creation and closure etc.;
b) update of WBS master records such as FM assignments; and
c) budget/fund transfers.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience.
• CA/CPA, with audit experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of SAP financial systems (S4 HANA) would be an advantage.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• High level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.
