Responsibilities
Preparation of various reporting deliverables for monthly, quarterly or half-yearly report and statutory accounts
Review and analyze monthly Group financial results and understand the gap against budget / forecast
Coordinate ad hoc forecasting and annual budgeting exercise of the Group
Develop strong understanding of all key performance drivers and issues relating to the businesses in the Group
Work closely with finance teams of subsidiaries to ensure timely reporting and accurate analysis of actuals against forecast and budget
Prepare presentation slides for management reporting and necessary approval papers such as for budget, valuation, etc.
Work closely with other departments for various ad-hoc projects as and when assigned
Requirements
Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA
At least 6 years of relevant working experience in a computerized accounting environment
Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards and local tax rules
Experience in the real estate industry is preferred
Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Proficient in IBM Cognos Controller and Microsoft Office applications (such as Excel and Powerpoint) and familiarity with Planning Analytics, SAP accounting software is an added advantage
Prior audit experience an added advantage
