Responsibilities Business partnering with Finance Shared Service, Operations teams and joint venture partners to provide advice on financial reporting and planning activities Review monthly closing of accounts, prepare financial reports, analysis for management's decision making and ensure compliance with group's accounting policies Review and monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projection for loan drawdown or repayment decisions, monitoring of loan covenants Review GST reporting and income tax computations Preparation of financial statements, distributable income, liaise with auditors and tax agents and ensure compliance with Singapore financial reporting standards Perform annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, including variance analysis and variance reporting Perform financial simulation or scenario planning and ongoing process improvements Requirements Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA At least 4 - 8 years of relevant working experience in a computerized accounting environment Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with Yardi/SAP accounting software and Cognos Controller (consolidation) is an added advantage Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards SFRS(I) and local tax rules Knowledge of GST principles and reporting requirements Experience in the real estate industry is preferred Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Benefits Flexible benefits with comprehensive medical coverage for self and family Training and development opportunities Subsidised rates at Ascott serviced residences Strong advocate of staff volunteerism Wellness programmes At CapitaLand, we advocate fair employment practices, and recruit talents based on merit and fit with our Corporate values.
